Flow Ninja Visited The Awwwards Digital Thinkers Conference 2022 in Amsterdam
Flow Ninja was the official sponsor for the 2022 Awwwards Digital Thinkers Conference, which took place in Amsterdam.
In addition, the team visited the conference, learning more about the latest practices in the digital world and connecting with many thought leaders and outstanding individuals from the industry.
Let’s take a quick look at our journey.
What’s Awwwards Conference?
Awwwards is a platform that recognizes and promotes talented web designers, developers, and agencies. The organization actively hosts various conferences where people from the web development industry get together to share ideas, connect, and discuss the future of the field. It’s a unique opportunity for digital dreamers to pursue their passions and creators to share their perspectives and inspire others.
One such conference was in Amsterdam on September 15 – 16, and we were lucky enough to be part of it. It’s worth noting that the conference takes palace in a different city every year. So far, it has been hosted in New York, Paris, London, Barcelona, and more.
Preparing for the Road
It’s no secret that we were hyped about attending the conference and felt like giving someone the same opportunity. The result was a snake-like game where anyone had a chance to compete and try to win two tickets to the conference. Congratulations to VARON001 for winning the contest!
Goedemorgen, Amsterdam — Do You Need a Website?
Apart from Uroš, members who made the trip to the Netherlands were Sara, Kika, Paja, and Mimi. We were quick to set up a booth at the conference, where visitors had a chance to create a personal website in under two minutes.
Our devs made a highly-customizable template that anyone had a chance to play around with and understand the true potential of Webflow.
Many creatives who visited our booth blew us away with their unique ideas and innovative approaches to web design, as showcased in our simple build-a-site-under-two-minutes tool.
Meeting the Old Friends
Rockin’ in the digital world is fun, but it has some disadvantages, such as not being able to meet many people in person. This changed at the conference, as we were able to interact with many of our past and current clients and partners.
Together with them, we’ve discussed and explored various ways Webflow could be used in the future. We also had a chance to chill out and party together with our colleagues and clients, Amsterdam being the perfect city for that.
Being able to finally connect with the people with whom we’ve accomplished a lot together is a special feeling, and it’s perhaps something we’ll remember the Amsterdam conference by.
Webflow Missionaries
We’ve said it a million times, and we’ll say it again: we love Webflow, and meeting other agencies that rely on it was almost a spiritual experience.
But the conference wasn’t only about Webflow, meaning there were other web design and development agencies. We reached out to them to discuss Webflow and compare it to many other tools. Ultimately, we promoted Webflow to these agencies and studios, showing them how they could improve their operations by incorporating the popular website builder into their operations.
A Thank You Note
We want to thank the organizers and all visitors for making this event so spectacular and exciting. We’ve learned a lot from other individuals and agencies that we had a chance to talk to. Moreover, we had a unique opportunity to listen to many speakers who shared some of the latest web design trends with us.
